Wili Sargable
Wili Sargable certainly fits this criteria. At age three, Wili had his right leg amputated but this did not stop Wili from becoming a wrestle. Not only did he wrestle, but in 1989 before over 3000 attendees, he brought them to their feet for a minute long standing ovation as he won the Florida 152 pound State Championship. He received his varsity letter from Central Missouri State University and became a teacher. Wili was an assistant wrestling coach and in 1999 was named head varsity coach, a position he still holds. In 2001- 2002, he was Hillsborough County Coach of the Year. For overcoming insurmountable challenges, the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, State Chapter of Florida presents Wili Sargable the state "Medal of Courage".
