Neil Turner retired in 2002 as wrestling coach at Messiah College and returned to Lock Haven where he is still involved with club wrestling.

Coach Turner started his coaching career in 1961 at Altoona Area School District.

He has coached at Stevens Trade School, Clarion University, Christian Athletes in Action, Clearfield High School and in 1979 was named head coach at Lock Haven University.

Coach Turner remained at Lock Haven until 1991 when he became the coach at Messiah College.

During his 40 years of coaching, 34 as a head coach, he had 30 winning seasons.
