Ron Pifer

Wrestling clinician for over 42 years, head wrestling coach at the United States Military Academy and coached 11 PIAA state champions at State College High School.

Pifer became the plebe coach at West Point in 1964 after graduating from Penn State University. Returned to West Point as head coach in 1976 after 10 years at State College High School. Returned to State College as an administrator until his retirement in 1999.

In 2001, he returned as a teacher and head wrestling coach at State College High School.

In 42 years of working wrestling camps, he has shared his leg wrestling techniques and skills with over 100,000 wrestlers.
