Martin Parks

Martin Parks has been a part of Pawhuska wrestling for most of his life. He wrestled for Pawhuska High School and after college went back there to begin his coaching career. He started coaching in 1980 and continues to this present day. During his tenure he guided his team to a 2000 state runner up finish, as well as a 2000 Dual Team state runner up. He has four district championships and four regional championships. In 2000 his peers voted him Coach of the Year. His dual meet record is an astonishing 284 wins against just 38 losses. Martin's love of Pawhuska and the sport of wrestling inspired him to write and have published, a book about the history of Pawhuska wrestling. Martin is presently a teacher, coach and assistant principal for the Pawhuska public school system.
