Celebrating Mike Duroe's Life, Love and Legacy

The National Wrestling Hall of Fame Gable Museum (303 Jefferson Street, Waterloo, Iowa 50701) will host the family and friends of Mike Duroe in celebration of his life and legacy on Saturday, September 28, 2019, from 6 to 9 PM.  

Mike is a member of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame, receiving the Lifetime Service to Wrestling award from the Iowa Chapter, the National Wrestling Coaches Association Division III Hall of Fame, and Cornell College’s Athletic Hall of Fame. He was an honorary coach of the 2018 U.S. men’s freestyle World Cup Team, which won the team title in Iowa City, as well as a longtime coach with the Hawkeye Wrestling Club. His bio is extensive.

Please join us in celebrating the life of this kind, extraordinary man whose legacy will live on through all those lives he touched, on and off the mat.
