Teyon Ware is a four-time undefeated Oklahoma state high school champion. He is a two-time Junior National Freestyle Champion, three-time All American and two times he was named the Oklahoma State Tournament Outstanding Wrestler. He was selected for the 2002 Wrestling USA Dream Team. He was named the All-City Wrestler of the Year two times. He was 1st Team Asics All American and on the All-State Wrestling Team. 

Teyon was also on the All-District Football Team and 2nd Team All-State Football. He was named Co-Offensive Player of the Year for the Metro Conference. Teyon was named Student of the Year three times and was Homecoming King. He is a Fellowship of Christian Athletes Summer Inner City Camp Leader and active in Mission in Training. His high school GPA is a 3.36. Teyon will wrestle for the University of Oklahoma.
