John Gramuglia

John Gramuglia has led Wadsworth High School to 25 consecutive Suburban League team titles and 26 titles overall.

The Grizzlies won the Division I state team title in 2010 and have placed in the Top 10 at the state tournament 21 times, including 11 top-five finishes, since 1994. Gramuglia has coached a state place-winner in 24 out of the past 25 seasons.

In 33 seasons, he has a 356-74-1 dual record and has qualified a wrestler for the state tournament in 32 consecutive seasons. Gramuglia has coached 133 state qualifiers, 85 state place-winners, 36 state finalists and 15 state champions. Nick Tavanello was a three-time champion while Bobby Jones, Brad Squire and Noah Baughman were two-time champions and Chris Kallai Jr., Matt Kallai, Timmy Miller, David Crowley, Louden Gordon and Ben Buzzelli were all one-time champions.

A former wrestler and graduate of Cleveland St. Ignatius High School and John Carroll University, Gramuglia is a retired journalism teacher and school newspaper adviser.
