Bobby Burkhardt

Bob Burkhardt started wrestling at the age of 8 for Baltimore County's, Stembridge Gremlins. At the time, they were one of the "Power House" teams of the Maryland Junior Wrestling League. While competing for Stembridge, Bob won 2 MJWL and Junior Olympic titles. Bob attended Eastern Vocational Technical High School where he won a Region title and was 2 time Maryland free style champion, which qualified him to represent Maryland in the Junior Nationals at University of Iowa. In 1990 Bob was asked to take over the Fallston Junior wrestling program. In the last 25 years Fallston Junior Wrestling has won 18 Harford County Jr Wrestling titles, 7 dual meet championships, MJWL division title, 2 AA County titles, and were 2 time MD/VA State runners up. Fallston Jr won the 2nd Annual MSWA Kids Dual Meet Championship and were awarded the team sportsmanship trophy. Bob has also successfully lead 5 All Star Teams to titles and is very proud of his program's 5 MJWL Team sportsmanship awards. Bob's program has produced 27 Junior League State champions of which 15 became high school state champs, 12 High School All Americans, 2 National Prep Champions, and a NCAA Champion. In addition to being a successful wrestler and coach, Bob is a champion in Archery and a member of National Champion teams in Soccer, Flag Football and a World Champion Softball team. Bob and his wife of 24 years, Kathy live in Fallston, MD
