Todd Ford

After one year of helping coach an NAIA team to a 3rd place finish at Nationals, Todd Ford made his way from South Dakota to Maricopa High School to start a new wrestling program. He crowned a State Champion in the first year and was hooked as a wrestling coach. After 2 years he moved to Tempe High School and revived the program with a couple state champs and several state placers. After 4 years, he was hired as an assistant at Mt. Pointe HS and assisted in development of another new program. He was hired as Desert Vista Head Coach, another new program developed, resulting into a team state runner-up and 5 top 5 finishes in 9 years of Varsity program. Todd was also involved as the AZ/USA Wrestling Junior's Director, National Team apparel designer, several cultural exchange programs and was named USA Wrestling Person of the Year in 1998.
