Donald Schroeder

A native of Wisconsin, Don started out officiating in Florida in 1973, and has been working steadily ever since. Don has worked FHSAA, NHSCA, NCAA/NAIA, NCWA and AAU events, both in Florida and nationally. He's worked the Disney Duals the past 12 years, NHSCA Senior Nationals, Super 32, and the Big 10 Championships in recent years. He's officiated all over Florida, as a member of the GMACWOA, Mid-Florida Wrestling Officials Association, Palm Beach Wrestling Officials, and Broward Wrestling Officials Association. He served as MFWOA President for several years. He's officiated 7 FHSAA State tournaments, as well as numerous Region and District events, and is a regular at many of the "top-tier" wrestling events around the state. An avid golfer, Don also helped chair the NWHOF Golf Tournament for 5 years, in addition to running several events for various fundraisers and charitable causes. In addition he spend 2 years coaching at St. Thomas Aquinas in Ft. Lauderdale from 1977-79, helping the Raiders to 2 District and a Region Championship. Don wrestled collegiately at Northern State University in Aberdeen, SD, placing 3rd at the SD Intercollegiate Championships. He also was a region champion in high school at Meenah& Winneconne Sr. High School's. He won 7 Seahorse Open championships and the 1977 AAU Florida State Championship as an open division wrestler.
