Steven Pricer

A 1976 graduate of James Madison University, Steve was head coach at Lely High School in Naples from 1979-88, 1991-93, and 2003-07. His 1983 team were FHSAA State Champions and FHSAA State Runners-up in 1982. He was also an assistant at Naples High School from 1976-77. Jeff Mustari, Obe Blanc, Mike Guitard, Mike Bono were all individual State Champions for Coach Pricer. He owns a 197-109 career dual meet record, with 13 state finalists, 22 state placewinners, and 58 state qualifiers. In addition to his contributions as a coach, Steve has been an FHSAA registered official since 2010, with the Collier County Officials Association. He was inducted into the FHSAA Hall of Fame and was also named the 1983 Florida Dairy Farmers Coach of the Year. In addition, he's been named the Ft. Myers Press and Naples Daily News Coach of the Year in 1982 & 83. He also serves as a football coach at Lely. He is currently a Social Studies teacher at Lely, and is married to wife, Brenda. He has two children, Vanessa and Zachary.
