Randy Miller

Randy Miller is a transplant from the State of Michigan, where he was State Champion, 2x State Runner-up and High School All-American. He went on to compete at Michigan State University, where he was a 3x NCAA Division I Qualifier, 2x Big 10 Runner-up and 2x Midlands Tournament place winner. He also competed for the US National Team from 1970-76, before moving on to coach in both Kentucky and Florida. He holds a 352-98-2 overall record as a coach at Woodford County (KY), St. Thomas Aquinas and Stoneman Douglas High Schools. He won State Championships at both Woodford County (1976) and St. Thomas Aquinas (1985), and is a member of the Broward County Wrestling and St. Thomas Aquinas Hall of Fame. He has 13 individual State Champions, 10 State Finalists, and 30 individual place winners. Several of his former wrestlers have gone on to be successful coaches of their own, including current University of Missouri Head Coach Brian Smith. Randy retired from coaching in 2011.
