Sue Siar began working in tournament operations in 1965 and joining USA Wrestling in 1978, where her high school experience quickly boosted her to top levels of officiating. She was Pairing Master at the 1984 Olympics and Chief Pairing Master at the 1996 Games.

She has officiated 268 regional, national and international events, including World Championships, World Cups, international military championships, and national events from coast to coast. She continues to work junior high, high school and college matches and all the age groups of USA Wrestling, topped by the Cadet/Junior Nationals with 3,500-plus entries.
