Wayne Snoderly is recognized for his years of dedication to the development of leadership and citizenship in young people through the sport of wrestling.

* Head wrestling coach for 16 years

* Assistant coach for ten years

* Four Mt. Hood Conference team titles

* 32 individual District champions

* Started Youth Wrestling at David Douglas HS

* 2013 State team title at David Douglas

Wayne Snoderly was a state champion at David Douglas High School. He returned to his alma mater in 1989 and helped the Scots win four Mt. Hood conference championships. He was an assistant for five years before becoming head coach in 1993, a position he held until 2007. He returned in 2009 as an assistant coach and helped David Douglas win the 2013 Oregon 6-A state team title. Snoderly started the David Douglas Youth Wrestling Program in 1994.
