Jeff Pultz is an outstanding veteran official, with 34 seasons in the Virginia High School League under his belt.

The high regard of his peers for his work can be seen in his assignments, which include 19 Virginia High School League state tournaments and four Virginia Duals tournaments.

He also works also at the college level, at events ranging from the Hokie and Wolfpack Opens to matches in the Atlantic Coast Conference, Coastal Athletic Association, and Southern Conference.

Jeff came to officiating as a successful wrestler and coach.

A two-time NCAA qualifier at Lynchburg College, he won the Eastern Regional in his senior year.

From college, he began a teaching and coaching career at Heritage High School in Lynchburg, Virginia, where his teams won three district championships. From 1981 to 1990, his Pioneers won 34 individual championships at the district level, six at the regional level, and nine medals in state tournaments.

In addition, Jeff coached football for 32 years and baseball for 14 years. In coaching three sports, Jeff has touched the lives of over 1,300 student-athletes.

Jeff is married to Terri, who is also a teacher. They have three children: Tyler Molihan is a sophomore at Virginia Tech; David is a freshman at James Madison; and Abby is a third-grader.
