Tom Sculley
Tom Sculley was a 1974 NCAA National Champion while attending Lehigh University. He has been successful at improving wrestling no matter where he is involved. While working on his Master's Degree at North Carolina State, he helped Thad Thacker become a national force as a heavyweight. After he received his Master's, he returned to his roots of Bethlehem. Once there he became one of the founding members of Force 10, the original Neoprene wrestling knee pad. Tom was also a driving force in the Talon Wrestling Club, located in the hot bed for wrestling Lehigh Valley. In 1988 Sculley joined the Brute Group as the National Sales Manager. Under his direction the company increased sales to double digit growth. Like all other places he has lived, Tom immediately became immersed in Berks County Wrestling. There isn't a wrestling room anywhere near Berks County that he hasn't been teaching, wrestling, and encouraging. In 1992 Sculley became a shareholder in the company and now holds the position of COO. When the company designed and built its new facility in 2004, Sculley was a driving force in creating the wrestling facility now known as the Brute Training Center. This center has become a magnet for wrestling in all drivable directions to come and train. Once again, Sculley is there to teach, to wrestle, to motivate, and encourage...because wrestling is the love of his life. For his tireless contributions the past 35 years, tonight he will receive the "Lifetime Service to Wrestling" Award
