Debbie Kelly has been a leader "as a highly regarded and widely recognized Pairing Official in Idaho and throughout the United States. Debbie began pairing in 1996 for WIWA and Idaho USA Wrestling, progressing to the P1E Rating as an official who has spent several years in tournament operations at the regional and national level. Debbie has served the pairing official community at the national level on pairing committees as the Chair of the “Clinic and Computer Committee,” a member of the “Assignments Committee,” and currently serves on the “USWOA PAC Committee” for USA Wrestling. National Awards 2021USA Wrestling Bernie Norris memorial Award (Pairing Master of the Year), selected each year by the pairings Advisory Board in recognition of outstanding accomplishments and contributions to the field of pairing and to USA Wrestling. Debbie has been praised widely and awarded numerous times, including as the 2020 USA Wrestling Lifetime Achievement Award winner for USWOA members who have given significantly to the betterment of amateur wrestling, and as the 2009 Ivan Olson Award (Volunteer Pairer of the Year) winner for dedicated years of service at the local, state and national levels and in recognition of their dedication and contributions to the field of pairing and to USA Wrestling. Debbie has served as pairing official at 62 National Tournaments, 23 Regional Tournaments and 19 other USA Wrestling Events.
