Joe Lammers
February 03, 1975 - Present
Joe Lammers leads a life of service…to the wrestling community, to his wrestlers, and to his nation. Joe served in the Idaho Army National Guard for over 22 years in Air Defense Artillery, Nuclear Biological and Chemical Defense, and Recruiting and Retention. Joe distinguished himself as a leader while serving a 17-month deployment in Kirkuk, Iraq, as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Joe balanced the weight of his military duties deftly while continuing to serve locally as a head and assistant coach in multiple high schools and club programs in Caldwell and Nampa. During his coaching stints at Caldwell, Nampa and Skyview High Schools, he helped these programs develop some of the best wrestlers in the state including 16 state champions, 80 State place winners, as well as 12 who continued on to success in competition at the college level. Often the first to roll up his sleeves and help wherever needed, Joe continues as a coach and leader in wrestling and throughout his community and the entire state. When called to assist with chapter planning and activities, Joe has played a key role in driving chapter growth and activities development in Idaho NWHOF event planning and execution activities. Joe organized and led the 2024 Golf Tournament and serves the Idaho NWHOF Chapter as the leader of the chapter Programs and Promotions committee.
