· 29 years of service as a coach - still active

· Started outstanding collegiate career at George Mason University (Fairfax, VA) where he was a two-year starter and member of two NCAA Patriot League championship teams (1990/1991)

· Transfer/1994 graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga (UTC) - B.A. English Literature and Language

· Two-year starter for the Mocs; Southern Conference runner-up (1994); member of two Southern Conference championship teams; collegiate record of 80-24

· 3 years (1995-98) - head coach - Perry (GA) HS

· 4 years (1998-2002) - head coach - East Paulding HS (Dallas, GA)

· 2 years (2002-04) - head coach - North Cobb HS (Kennesaw, GA)

· 18 years (2004-22) - head coach - Alexander HS (Douglasville, GA)

· 2 years (2022-present) head coach - Temple (GA) HS

· 532 career dual meet wins; teams claimed 18 county championships

·  2X GHSA state traditional champions (2010/2017); 1X GHSA state dual champions (2017)

·  Teams finished in top 4 in 15 GHSA state tournaments

·  Captured 9 traditional area team championships; 8 dual meet area team championships

· Coached 46 National High School Coaches Association (NHSCA) All-Americans

· 27 years as Team Georgia/USA Wrestling coach - asst. coach (5 years), head coach (22 years)

· 2X Southeastern Regional Junior Development Coach of the year (2010/2016)

· Coached 11 national champions and 34 Freestyle/Greco All-Americans

· Resides in Douglasville with wife, Melissa; children: Kendall Moistner, Sophia Moistner, Gabby Mobley, Grace Mobley
