Jeff Carman

· Native of McDonough, GA
· 1980 graduate of Morrow High School where he starred in football and wrestling
· Offered football scholarship to Carson-Newman University
· 1985 graduate of Georgia State University - B.S. Accounting
· 37 years of service as a GHSA official with the Georgia Wrestling Officials Association (GWOA) and wrestling volunteer (1987-present)
· 14 years (1998-2012) as treasurer of GWOA; 12 years (2012-present) as president of GWOA
· Served as booster club president ten years (2000-2010) while sons were competing at the high school level
· Georgia Athletic Coaches Association (GACA) Official of the Year (2013)
· Atlanta Takedown Association’s (ATA) Volunteer of the Year (2022)
· Officiated numerous GHSA traditional state, dual meet state, sectional and area tournaments
· Mainstay at USA Wrestling/Team Georgia youth wrestling tournaments, including Kids State tournaments
· Served as tournament director for numerous Team Georgia folkstyle, freestyle and Greco tournaments
· Volunteer at Georgia High School Association (GHSA) traditional and dual meet state tournaments since 2006 (18 years)
· Competed in Mr. Atlanta Bodybuilding Contest (1985)
· Coached youth baseball and football for 17 years
· Outstanding career as a Certified Public Accountant for the Treasury Department of the state of Georgia
· Resides in McDonough with wife, Connie; adult sons: Johnny, Joey, Jimmy
