Roger Barrick
Roger Barrick was a 1983 graduate of Millersville University where he wrestled for three seasons.
In high school, Barrick competed for Susquenita High School from 1976-1978 and then coached there from 1990-1993, accumulating a 64-22 record.
He served as the head coach at Cumberland Valley High School from 1993-2004 and had a dual meet record of 149-47-1.
He also coached at Mechanicsburg High School from 2008-2012, accumulating a 67-28 dual record. While at Mechanicsburg, he coached eight state qualifiers and six state medalists.
In 2012, he led Mechanicsburg to a fourth-place finish at the Pennsylvania Interscholastic Athletic Association State Team Duals.
During his career, Barrick coached 49 sectional champions, 143 district qualifiers, 61 district place-winners, 23 regional champions, 47 state qualifers and 25 state medalists. He coached six state finalists and three state champions, Dave Heckard, Jim Thornton and Jon Sauve.
Barrick is a retired technical education teacher who currently resides in Mechanicsburg with his wife Stacey. They have three sons, Rustin (30), Rogan (29) and Ryan (26).
