1969-1983 Head Wrestling Coach, Flushing HS, built a new program into the #1 Class A ranking in 1976.
Multiple Big 9 Conference Championships, (placed all weight classes in top four one year)
5 MHSAA State Finalist.
10 MHSAA All-State placers.
1976, Undefeated State Champion, Greg Wilson, Jr Pan-American games.
1970’s- USWF Official for National Junior Freestyle/Greco Championships- several yrs. in Iowa City.
1993- Head Official, MHSAA State Finals.
23 MHSAA State Wrestling Finals Official.
2 Florida High School State Wrestling Finals Official.
Officiated several USWF National Junior Freestyle/Greco National Championships, Iowa City.
Numerous years officiating MSU Open and EMU Open (great preparation for the HS season)
15 yrs. officiating in the Big Ten and MAC Conferences.
2006 National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) National Championships.
2007 National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) National Championships.
2008 National Collegiate Wrestling Association (NCWA) National Championships.

2010 Cliff Keen National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) National Duals, NCAA D2 Division, (Crew of 6 included 5 NCAA Championship Officials) of the 30 total officials selected, I was one of the 2 officials selected who were East of the Mississippi.
One of the original Evaluator/Observer’s in the newly created initiative in the Big Ten Conference. Continued that participation for 3 years. (After retiring from actively officiating on the collegiate level.)
Officiated dual meets involving all four of our states NCAA D1 programs, including packed houses for UM vs MSU and UM vs CMU.
Significant Career Highlights include: 1. Officiating Defending NCAA Champions Penn State vs. MSU at Kellogg Arena on the podium surrounded by Youth wrestlers and 2 Olympic Coaches in the corner.
2. Calling the MSU at CMU match. It was an affirmation of my integrity to call this intrastate rivalry involving my collegiate teammate and Head Coach at MSU opposing my Alma Mater, CMU. 3. My last NCAA dual meet at CMU vs. Iowa State coached by Olympic Champion and Lansing Eastern graduate Kevin Jackson.
