Jose Delgado
Jose is a wrestling guy and does whatever needs doing in a wrestling setting. Jose was a TSSAA referee from Memphis with 7 TSSAA state tournaments under his belt. Jose has extensive freestyle and greco experience. He's been a USA and FILA official for over 30 years and has officiated 50 national championship tournaments and has worked tournaments on four continents.
Frank Simpson started Jose in wrestling. But it was Walt Holmes that immersed him when he was an assistant at Houston High School for nine year when wrestling greats Lucus Borneman and Brandon Wright were devasting their weight class and winning titles. Jose developed tournament software that helped run the Black Horse Invitational and was later used by TSSAA to run the state tournament. Jose also coached with the Mid South wrestling club for 16 years with many great coaches including Tony Bradley.
Jose has been a leader everywhere he's been and he’s now trying to straighten out Texas.
