- 2X NYSPHSAA Section 10 wrestling champion 1975, 1976 (215 and 250 lbs.)
- All Conference (ICAC) football player and outstanding wrestler while at St. Lawrence University
- Longtime Physical Education teacher in Cobb County School District
- 40 years of service (30 in Georgia and 10 in North Carolina)
- 1980-87 (7 years) - head coach Walker HS/Stone Mountain HS; GHSA state tournament director (1985 and 1986); 1982-84 past president of Dekalb Takedown Club
- Moved to NC and founded Metrolina youth wrestling club (Charlotte, NC) served as officer/coach for 9 years for Metrolina club, NC AAU; head coach NC AAU youth national team (4 years)
- 1999-2001- Returned to GA as teacher and coach in Cobb County – Head coach for Harrison youth program -2 years
- 2001-2007 (6 years) - assistant coach at Harrison HS
- 2008 – Director/Coach for Team Georgia USA Wrestling Cadet National Dual Team
- 2008-2015 (8 years) - head coach Harrison HS (7 years)
- 2015-2018 (3 years) - assistant coach at Harrison HS
