· Longtime science teacher in Gwinnett County schools including 20 years at Berkmar HS and three years at Archer HS - retired May 2013

· 4-year collegiate starter (College of William and Mary); 2X Southern Conference champion (118 lbs.) 1976 and 1977; 1X Eastern Regional champion (1978); 3X NCAA qualifier; 3X Virginia Intercollegiate champion; 2X Wilkes Open champion; 6X Sr. National Freestyle place winner/2X champion; 4th place in 1980 US Olympic trials; competed for prestigious New York Athletic Club (1979-1985); 3X placer in Canada Cup; numerous other titles

· Represented the United States in international competitions in/against Germany, Tbilisi, Russia, Japan, Cuba, Korea and New Zealand   

· Collegiate record of 127-27-2

· 11 years as a coach at the high school or collegiate level - Varsity assistant coach (Long Island - 1 year); assistant coach at George Mason University       (1 yr.), asst. coach Trenton State (5 years); head coach Hammonton (NJ) HS              (2 years); volunteer coach with Georgia State University wrestling program (2 years); head coach Berkmar (GA) HS (2 years)

· As part of Trenton State staff (1979-85) - 2 NCAA D3 national championship teams; 2 NCAA runner-up teams; one 5th place team

· 30 years as one of GHSA’s most outstanding wrestling officials- (1990-2020)

· Regularly officiated GHSA area, sectional and state tournaments

· Highly regarded camp clinician and lecturer at numerous camps over the years including East Stroudsburg, Russ Houk’s, Gene Mills, Hofstra and US Naval Academy wrestling camps
