Dom was born and raised in Binghamton, New York, and graduated from Binghamton Central High School, where he was first introduced to wrestling. He attended Paul Smith’s College, in Paul Smith’s, New York, where he wrestled and graduated with an A.A.S. degree in Business Administration. Dom then transferred to the University of Central Florida, where he also wrestled, and graduated with a B.S.in Business Administration/Marketing. His professional career in plastics landed Dom in Tampa, Florida, in 1975. In 1980, he joined the West Coast Officials Association, where he began his wrestling officiating career. Throughout Dom’s forty years of officiating, he has been selected to officiate numerous District, Regional, and State tournaments. In retrospect, Dom feels that one of the most significant accomplishments of his career would have to be one of the founding members of West Coast Wrestling Officials Association, where he also served as Vice President for over twenty years. But most importantly, the many fellow officials and coaches whom he has had the pleasure of meeting throughout the years, along with the many bonding relationships, are memories that will be with him for the rest of his life. Forty years - what a ride!
