Penny Banner
Penny Banner served as an outstanding representative of professional wrestling during her 25-year ring career and for decades afterwards. The first AWA world champion, she is considered one of the finest women wrestlers of all time. Outside the ring, she was involved in numerous activities, such as the Senior Olympics and the Cauliflower Alley Club, and created a positive image for her profession. Penny is the first woman wrestler every honored by the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame.
