Bob led Emmetsburg/Armstrong/Ringsted to eight state team wrestling championships — six traditional (2000-03, 2005-06) and two dual (2002-03) — during nine seasons as head coach from 1998-2007. Kenny coached at Holbrook (Arizona), Maquoketa Valley, Osage and Estherville before coaching at Emmetsburg. Kenny’s teams combined for a 289-123-1 dual meet record with 88 state qualifiers and 56 state place winners, including 12 state championships and 24 finalists. He wrestled in high school for Osage and in college for Buena Vista.
