Max Thomsen
Max Thomsen (Union of LaPorte CIty) became the 24th four-time state wrestling champion in Iowa history.
He won 2A state championships in 2012 (113 pounds), 2013 (126 pounds), 2014 (138 pounds), and 2015 (145 pounds).
Thomsen compiled a state record 210 career wins, including 199 in a row. His overall high school career record was 210-1.
He will continue wrestling at the University of Northern Iowa.
