Kyle Dake

Kyle Dake was a four-time national champion and the 2013 Hodge Award winner for Cornell University.

He made history when he became the first collegiate wrestler to win four national titles in four different weight classes and also the first to win four national titles without taking a redshirt season.

Dake was named the Outstanding Wrestler at the 2013 NCAA Championships while also being honored as the inaugural Sports Illustrated Male College Athlete of the Year and as a finalist for an ESPY Award in the same category. He became the third Cornell wrestler to be named Outstanding Wrestler and the first since Hall of Fame Distinguished Member Dave Auble received the honor in 1960.

He was a three-time Eastern Intercollegiate Wrestling Association Wrestler of the Year and had a career record of 137-4. Dake won his last 79 college matches, including a perfect 37-0 record with 18 pins as a senior.

Dake is a four-time World champion, capturing gold medals at 74 kg in 2021 and 2022 after winning gold at 79 kg in 2018 and 2019, and was a bronze medalist at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.
