David Scott

David is 2017 Class honoree. He was the 138 lb state champ in 1974 at Hillwood High School under legendary Coach G. P. West. David was part of the G. P. traveling roadshow that introduced wrestling to parts of the city that had never seen real wrestling before. David went on to serve the sport as a long time excellent official. He was the Middle Tennessee Wrestling Officials Association President and mentored and influenced many new and experienced officials...and coaches. David has always been a jokester at heart but is plenty serious about wrestler safety which is probably why he is such a good first responder and EMT with the Nashville Fire Department.
