- USA Wrestling national "Official of the Year" (2011)
- Coach at Holy Innocents' Episcopal School School in Atlanta, Ga (2008-present)
- Longtime coach for Team Georgia/USA Wrestling national teams (1998-present)
- Resides in Powder Springs, GA with his wife, Yolanda; adult sons Lee and Roderick are former standouts for the NC State wrestling team
