Wayne Garber is being inducted as an official. Wayne began his officiating career in 1982. Throughout his wrestling efforts, Wayne has juggled his officiating along with volunteer coaching efforts at several Orlando High Schools. In addition to officiating numerous FHSAA State Championships, Wayne has also been an NCAA Division II and Division III official. Wayne has received a Medal of Appreciation of the University of Florida for his work with their wrestling club as well as Certificates of Appreciation for his scores over the years from FHSAA. The Wrestling community is not the only group to receive assistance from Wayne. He has been a driver and volunteer for over 25 years with Meals on Wheels and has been a volunteer with the American Red Cross Disaster Team.
